Great B&Bs

Around the World

Le Petit Galais: A French Bed and Breakfast in France with a Kiwi twist.

Jenn and I stayed in Kaikoura New Zealand at Nikau Lodge and were looked after like royalty. Ian and Sophie are now starting a new adventure in Saint-Carreuc, a secluded village of Brittan.  A home away from home ideally located to explore the Brittany region.  Jenn and I now have it on our list to visit because we are sure we will get the same fabulous reception we received in Kaikoura.

Tucker House Bed and Breakfast, Louisville, Kentucky

We stayed with Devona and Steve Porter at the Tuckerhouse on our way down south last winter.  The place is absolutely beautiful and the breakfast was out of this world. We had much to talk about as we both enjoyed being Innkeepers.  Their place has a great deal to offer winter or summer.

The Vintage House, Abilene Texas

“Abilene, the prettiest town that you’ve ever seen” That song went through my head the entire time we were there because it is a very pretty place and the people we met were very welcoming.  Bob and Betty Weiddinger offer beautifully appointed and very comfortable rooms. Betty prepared a super breakfast that was expertly served by Bob.  We enjoyed visiting with them and learning about the house and the region.

Dockside Bed and Breakfast Orillia Ontario

If you are ever in the area to visit the casino or enjoy the lakes and the canals this is a must stop.  Sharlene and Wayne are right on the water front with access to the Trent-Severn waterway and Lake Couchiching.  A very friendly couple I know you will enjoy meeting.

Tranquility Base Bed and Breakfast

I had the pleasure of staying with Shirley and Larry at their beautiful B&B in Ancaster Ontario.  It is truly a tranquil place to be.  Shirley and Larry know the area's restaurants and sites and can give you the inside scoop.  They even give you a card to for 10% off oat some restaurants.
